Trying to rise from the fire

Hi all. Long time no see. So where has Andy been? Where’s the CaptainsCast podcast? Is it coming back? Well, let me tell you. My intention is to resume recording with Ben as soon as possible. the problem is…me. I’ve been battling a bit of a problem since December. I have been suffering from depression and rage. I work in a very high stress position at my company that provides me a terrific wage. It sometimes provides me with a lot of undue stress, and a lot of undue criticism about the work I provide to the end-users. There are a lot of times when I have been privy to unloading on people, flipping furniture, etc. Not a healthy environment. Therefore, I went to the doctor and got help. I’ve been taking medication since December to help me control my issues. It also makes me very lax. Especially during the winter months. It’s something you have to just overcome – fighting the lax feelings. I have now done that.
In that time, I have been going to church, spending time with my family, and getting my personal plans for the site and podcasting back together.
There’s more coming, that is for sure. CaptainsCast is coming back. Time Machine Toychest will continue as well. I have a few other projects coming, too. An every other day podcast providing you a quick look at the nerd news of the day, and a science teacher podcast with my wife.
